The TED effect

You may be aware that we have been big fans of supporting the TEDx Royal Tunbridge Wells event and this autumn our business development manager Claire is taking the exciting and slightly daunting role as chair of the inaugural TEDxRTW Women’s event confirmed to take place alongside the global conference in San Francisco on the 26th – 28th October.

Claire and her committee team will be creating a stylish and inspiring event at the newly refurbished and luxurious One Warwick Park, set in the heart of the famous Pantiles area of Royal Tunbridge Wells.

Coinciding with the theme of the main event ‘It’s all about time’ we are looking forward to sharing a fascinating day with a wide range of guest speakers, with one already confirmed Nat Taylor a GP in the British Army and a intrepid outdoor enthusiast in her spare time. She will be talking about an all female expedition across the Antarctic via the South Pole, and actively encouraging women of all ages that they can achieve their goals by ‘thinking big and aiming high’.

Joining Claire on the newly reformed TEDxRTW women committee is a group of dynamic local ladies all with a mission to make this TED event one of the most memorable to date.

Also new to the TEDxRTW family is ifour Creative Director - Graeme Hall who joins the ranks as dedicated Head of Brand and Digital. Its no surprise that Dan the founder was keen to sign Graeme up as this year following the revamp of the main TEDx site we proudly scooped the gold award for best marketing and creative site.  Graeme continues to work his magic as we evolve the women’s site.
