ifour clients Fourex have been featured on Carte Blanche, an award winning South African investigative journalism programme on M-Net.
Presenter Devi Sankaree Govender presented a short package, explaining how Jeff and Oliver came to create the Fourex machines whilst living in Abu Dhabi and why exactly they are needed. At present there are around R60 billion in the UK in spare change in the UK alone, which is around £3 billion. The 28 year old programme is a SA favourite and has won over 165 awards, so it was fantastic to see the presenters recognising Fourex as ‘a smart idea’ that makes South Africa proud. There was also an outpouring of appreciation on social media, with many requests to get a Fourex kiosk set up in SA as soon as possible.
Looks like Fourex are set to continue their success as the business grows, following on from a fantastic 2015 winning the Virgin Media 'Pitch to Rich' competition and rolling out kiosks in key locations such as Westfield shopping centres and London Underground stations. ifour have enjoyed a relationship with Fourex from very early on and have designed their branding, website and continue to work together on brand strategy following the ultra successful crowdfunding campaign.
You can find out more about Fourex and their story on their website.
Below are a handful of the tweets received following the show:
