Avenue Tennis is a brand new bespoke tennis, health and leisure facility based in Gillingham Kent. The £7m development boasts 14 tennis courts, badminton courts, a 2,000-member gym, a spa, a café and a restaurant. Looking to position themselves as the lead destination for racket sports in Kent, Avenue Tennis approached ifour as soon as the ground was broken on the site.

From the get-go it was clear that this was an exciting development with a far-reaching appeal that needed a multi-faceted strategy to entice the different audience groups. Strategic workshops and two way communication with the project team ensured complete alignment in positioning the facility as high-end but with a strong community interest, reflective of the owner’s own founding interests. Taking this approach from commissioning onwards quickly built up close working relationships and client trust to deliver an exceptional brand, website and marketing tools for launch.

A vibrant brand that is easily identifiable and adaptable across many platforms including interior and exterior signage, uniforms, vehicles, advertising, exhibition banners and online media. The fully responsive website offers a clear hierarchy of information on the range of state-of-the-art facilities, bold, dynamic graphics and visuals and back end integration with the internal class-booking system for members.

Avenue Tennis is now well established in the local community and has achieved 20% above their membership targets, continuing to grow steadily. Community links currently extend to partnering with 11 local schools in the Medway area and a scholarship programme at the club. The Avenue Tennis website was also awarded Bronze at the 2017 KDAs in the Sports & Entertainment Website category.

Loved working with Graeme and the whole team at ifour. Extremely creative and innovative and nothing is too much trouble..”
