On Thursday 17th October ten of our team donned their suits and frocks and scooted around the M25 to the Wirehive 100 awards.
A glittering Venetian masquerade extravaganza awaited us at the venue within Thorpe Park with trapeze artists, stilt walkers, jesters and bubble blowers surprising us at every turn.
We were finalists for five projects:
- Best content-driven campaign – ifour this is a campaign
- Not for profit website – VegPower
- Brand Impact of the year – CACI
- B2B Site of the year – Catalyx
- B2B Site of the year – Zenzic
The competition was stiff, there had been a huge amount of entries of substantial quality. We achieved runner up for Not for profit site of the year which apparently, was a very close call for the winning spot.
Being recognised for good work at awards ceremonies is a real privilege. It’s great for team morale and for the clients involved, who trust us with their brands and projects. We have a great amount of respect for all our peers but especially for all the agencies that, like us, are making their mark outside London. Attending a phenomenal evening of mutual appreciation always helps strengthen ties with our fellow ‘out-of-London’ comrades and shines a spotlight on the diversity and quality of work being produced across the South of England.
The fact that we got to go on a few rollercoasters was a bonus too. It’s not everyone that can say they’ve ridden Swarm in evening wear?
